Problem:
After you have performed an update on your CS141, various functions may no longer be available. It is possible that the CS141 software was unable to load the update completely and was damaged during this process. If this has occurred, you can identify it by the following symptoms:
- The position of the slider switch is not displayed correctly
The MAC address is not displayed
A blue bar is visible next to the network switch indicator
- Error code: Server Error (420): net_ipv6_type from /etc/config
- The IP address configuration is not applied
Solution:
Because the software was damaged during the update, unfortunately there is no other option than to reset the device to factory settings.
In this case, you need to perform an update and select both Reset to Factory settings and Reset network to factory settings.
After the update has been completed, please run the same update again and select both options again: Reset to Factory settings and Reset network to factory settings.
This update step must be performed twice if the error Server Error (420): net_ipv6_type from /etc/config occurs.
After resetting the device, you can access the web interface at the IP address 10.10.10.10.
